See what we’ve been up to this year!

Looking back on our 2019-2020 season, we feel incredibly fortunate to be able to have presented such high quality – even record-breaking – events. Right in the midst of the protests, we had one of our best attended concerts in Premiere Performances’ history (Alice Sara Ott, Nov 2019) – in terms of ticket sales, only Miloš and Yuja Wang’s Hong Kong début were higher. Sandwiched between the protests and COVID-19, the 11^th Beare’s Premiere Music Festival (January 2020) featured 35 musicians in 29 events – our biggest festival to date!  And our own Viva Pipers! broke a record, selling out completely the Sai Wan Ho Civic Center for a delightful family concert in Nov 2019.
