Join acclaimed luthier and Beare’s Head of Scientific Research and Conservation, Robert Brewer Young, for a unique multi-sensory workshop series exploring the artistry and craftsmanship behind the exquisite huanghuali cello and string instruments. Each session focuses on one of the five senses—taste, smell, sound, sight, and touch. In this session, “The Violinmaker’s Kitchen”, you will learn about the role of natural ingredients in violinmaking and even taste said ingredients.
