Viva! Pipers’ 10th Anniversary Celebration Concert!

Viva! Pipers invites you to join them in celebrating their 10th anniversary! Since their first school performance with Premiere Performances of Hong Kong in 2015, Viva! Pipers has brought joy to audiences with their creative and engaging performances. To mark this special milestone, they present a unique anniversary concert, sharing the delight of music with your children.

This celebration concert features their much-loved school tour programme and two enchanting music fairy tales  — The Frog Prince and The Tortoise and the Hare. Beloved stories are brought to life through different combinations of instruments, inviting children to step into a magical world of music. Don’t miss this special family concert marking ten wonderful years of Viva! Pipers’ music-making!

Performance in English (2:30pm) and Cantonese (5pm). For ages 5 and above.

About Viva! Pipers

Viva! Pipers is a woodwind quintet of five talented Hong Kong musicians.  As Premiere Performances’ first in-house ensemble for its Chamber Music in Schools programme, they have received extensive training with experts at Musica Viva Australia to help them deliver world-class educational performances. The quintet comprises flute, clarinet, oboe, French horn and bassoon, and is known for their highly interactive presentations – living up to their name – as “viva” means “alive”, “vibrant” and “energetic”.

Since 2015, Viva! Pipers has been collaborating with the Premiere Performances of Hong Kong under the “Chamber Music In Schools” programme to give live performances at local and international schools in Hong Kong.  They visit 20 schools and perform to over 3000 students yearly. In 2021, they reached more than 100,000 student audiences. Viva! Pipers also appeared at the Family Concert Series organized by the Premiere Performances of Hong Kong, reaching out to more families from all walks of life and sharing woodwind quintet music with their audience in a way that is exceedingly fun, fresh and joyful.
