Known for their lively and interactive style, Shrewd Brass will take kids on a fun-filled musical adventure with trumpet, trombone, French horn and tuba, performing a diverse programme featuring fanfares, movie medleys, dance tunes and more. Local favourite Fiesta Brass Quintet will join at the end, promising an afternoon of great music and fun that will inspire your young children with music!

About Shrewd Brass

Formed in 1988 at the Victorian College of the Arts, Shrewd Brass combines superb music with rollicking laughs. A brass quintet comprising of professional musicians and music educators from jazz, musical theatre and classical music, Shrewd Brass has been touring for 20 years, and has developed a distinct, playful style of presentation. From dueling trumpet players to an out-of-control trombonist and a tuba player who needs assistance to stay in time, Shrewd Brass will bring a smile to all.
