About the Viva! Pipers

The Viva! Pipers are made up of five talented musicians from Hong Kong who will show you how cool playing a wind instrument can be. This afternoon concert is the perfect introduction to the wind family of instruments and small ensemble playing. The programme will include family favourites, from traditional folk songs and classical music to blockbuster movie themes and lively cartoon melodies.

The Viva! Pipers were established in 2014 by Premiere Performances, and have received extensive training from Musica Viva Australia to able to deliver the same interactive and engaging programme that Musica Viva is famous for. The Viva! Pipers have already given 40 in-school concerts and workshops for nearly 12,000 students, and also regularly give public performances at various venues across Hong Kong.
